Workplace Menopause Support
Better understanding. Better conversations. Better support.
Menopause doesn't stop when someone arrives at work.
Poor sleep, fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, hot flushes, changes in confidence and other symptoms can affect how someone feels and functions during their working day.
But supporting menopause in the workplace doesn't need to be complicated.
It starts with understanding what's happening, creating an environment where people feel able to talk and knowing how to offer appropriate support.
I provide practical, engaging menopause education for organisations that want to better support their people.
Face-to-face or online. Tailored to your organisation
Why Menopause Matters at Work
For many women, menopause arrives at a point when they're experienced, knowledgeable and often carrying significant responsibility.
Yet it can also be a time when they start questioning themselves.
-
Why can't I concentrate?
-
Why am I suddenly struggling with something I've done for years?
-
Why am I so exhausted?
-
Where has my confidence gone?
Good workplace menopause support isn't about lowering expectations or treating women differently.
It's about understanding, communication and creating a workplace where people feel supported rather than having to struggle in silence.
Workplace Experience
I've had the pleasure of working with Mole Valley Farmers, (amongst others) delivering menopause awareness sessions as part of their support for employees.
Importantly, the conversation wasn't limited to women experiencing menopause.
I delivered separate sessions - one for women and another to help partners and others better understand menopause and its wider impact.
Because if we're going to improve menopause awareness, we can't only educate the women going through it.
Managers, colleagues and partners can all be part of the conversation.
Menopause Is About More Than Hot Flushes
-
Sleep disruption.
-
Fatigue.
-
Brain fog and concentration.
-
Anxiety and changes in mood.
-
Loss of confidence.
-
Joint and muscle discomfort.
-
Headaches and migraines.
-
Bladder health.
-
Temperature regulation.
These are just some of the ways menopause can affect everyday life.
Every woman's experience is different, and not everyone will want to discuss personal symptoms at work.
Creating awareness helps make those conversations easier when someone does need support.
Menopause Awareness Sessions
For women experiencing menopause
Practical, accessible sessions designed to help women better understand what may be happening and the things they can do to support themselves.
Sessions can cover areas including:
-
Perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause
-
Common and lesser-known symptoms
-
Sleep and fatigue
-
Stress and anxiety
-
Movement and strength
-
Nutrition and healthy habits
-
Confidence and wellbeing
-
Pelvic and bladder health
-
When to seek medical support
-
Practical strategies for the working day
-
Open Q&A
The aim isn't to overwhelm women with information.
It's to help them feel informed, empowered and less alone.
Manager & Team Awareness
You don't have to experience menopause to understand it.
Managers often want to support someone but worry about saying the wrong thing.
-
Should I bring menopause up?
-
What can I ask?
-
What shouldn't I ask?
-
What might help?
These sessions give managers and teams practical understanding without expecting them to become menopause experts.
We can explore:
-
What menopause is and how it can affect someone
-
Having supportive conversations
-
Listening without making assumptions
-
Practical workplace considerations
-
Appropriate signposting
-
Building a more supportive workplace culture
Sometimes being listened to and taken seriously can make an enormous difference.
Partners & Colleagues
Because menopause doesn't only affect the woman experiencing it.
Someone's partner, family or colleagues may see that something has changed without understanding why.
This session looks at menopause from the other side.
-
What's happening?
-
Why might someone's sleep, mood, confidence or behaviour have changed?
-
What can help?
-
What really doesn't help?
And how can you support someone without constantly trying to "fix" them?
These sessions are informative, practical and designed to make a sometimes difficult subject much easier to talk about.
Bespoke Wellbeing Sessions
Menopause support doesn't have to mean another standard awareness presentation.
I can also create sessions around wider midlife and women's wellbeing topics, including:
-
Strength and movement
-
Healthy ageing
-
Sleep and recovery
-
Stress management
-
Confidence and wellbeing
-
Sustainable lifestyle change
-
Women's health
-
Practical movement sessions
-
Interactive Q&A
These can be delivered as individual workshops or form part of a wider employee wellbeing programme.
Tell me what you're trying to achieve and we can create something that works for your organisation.
Why Work With Me?
I'm a Menopause Wellness Practitioner, Menopause Movement Coach and Women's Coaching Specialist, with additional professional training across nutrition, sleep, stress, recovery, movement and healthy ageing.
But I bring lived experience too.
I'm navigating menopause myself - including the sleepless nights, anxiety, brain fog, hot flushes, aching joints and changes in confidence.
That combination shapes how I deliver sessions.
Professional and evidence-informed, but also relatable, practical and human.
I want people to feel comfortable asking questions, joining the conversation and leaving with information they can actually use.
Clear Professional Boundaries
My role is to provide menopause education and practical lifestyle support.
I don't diagnose menopause or medical conditions.
I don't prescribe medication.
I don't advise someone to start, stop or change HRT or other medication.
And I don't replace a GP or other healthcare professional.
Where appropriate, I encourage individuals to seek medical advice and signpost towards appropriate clinical support.
My role is to complement appropriate healthcare - not replace it.

Your wider wellbeing objectives
All workplace support is individually quoted.
You might want one menopause awareness session.
You might want separate sessions for women and managers.
Perhaps you'd like something for partners and colleagues.
Or you may want to incorporate menopause into a broader wellbeing programme.
We'll build the right approach for your organisation.
Not Sure What You Need?
You don't need to arrive with a fully formed menopause strategy.
You might simply know:
"We want to support our people better."
That's a perfectly good place to start.
Tell me a little about your organisation, who you'd like to support and what you're hoping to achieve.
We'll take it from there.
